ART in City Hall?

Citrus Heights City Hall features the exhibitions of local artists in various buildings in the Citrus Heights Civic Center Complex located at 6237 Fountain Square Drive.

The current show is a "Student Art Exhibit" which features artwork by Sylvan Middle School and Mesa Verde High School students who participate in the San Juan Unified School District Arts Community. A model of sustainability, the students in the San Juan Arts Community reused the frames purchased with a City grant for last year's Student Art Exhibit in order to share 16 new pieces of artwork with the community. The Student Art Exhibit will remain on display until June 2, 2011.

A new exhibition is featured every two months and generally includes the work of two to three artists. The public is invited to view the art collection at City Hall during regular business hours. To receive email notifications when there is a new exhibit, sign up for the City's e-notifer service.

If you are interested in showing your art in a future exhibit, email historyandarts@citrusheights.net
