City of Citrus Heights Harmony House Wish List

I have received this request through our own Citrus Heights Police Department and I wanted to share it with you. Another chance to help.

Below is a wish list for items to assist our local domestic violence center. Please share with your constituents where appropriate.

Our city’s safe house, named “Harmony House”, is managed by volunteer advocates from the Domestic Violence Intervention Center.  It depends largely on donations for the community to keep the house stocked with all the items needed to make the house a warm and safe home until these families can begin to start their lives in a new positive direction.

This summer the Harmony House is asking for your help in getting the word out to help find new or gentle used items.  The DVIC graciously accepts gift cards to office supply stores in Citrus Heights, Lowe’s, Orchard Supply Hardware, Target, and Walmart.

The DVIC is also asking for assistance from anyone who may have maintenance skills to help with some minor repairs.  As the location of the Harmony House is confidential and access is strictly limited, please contact me for more information if you can offer this type of assistance.
