HAPPY "SAFE" NEW YEAR

This is so appropriate for the beginnng of the new year that I could not resist putting this up for all of us. Reminding each of us to not tailgate on our streets and highways--- especially the highways. With such high speeds (and many going WAYYYY over the speed limit, it is important to remember how much space you need in order for your car to stop and stop safely - without bumping into another car.

Do you know how many feet it takes to stop your car if you are going the highway speed of 65MPH???

Create Space^®” message out onto roadways to encourage us all to practice safe space management (29% of all injury crashes result from poor space management.) The Nebraska Office of Highway Safety, Great West Insurance, and the Nebraska Trucking Association are all key partners in this initiative.
